”Win-Win Cooperation of Smallholder Farmers and Processors in Armenia” Case Study 2016 The following case study was developed in the framework of “Improving Regional Food Security through National Strategies and Small Holder Production in the South Caucasus,” a four-year project funded by the European Union and OXFAM. The case was developed by BSC Business Support Center consulting company with the support of Oxfam in Armenia Economic Justice Programme’s staff (EJP). Other supporting parties were representatives of the Armenian food manufacturing industry, as well as the smallholder farmers and cooperatives working with them. The following study represents two cases of Mirg LLC, a newly-established fruits and berries processing factory that produces preserves under the brand name “Ayrum Fruits” and of Yerevan Brandy Factory CJSC that is a leading brandy manufacturer in Armenia.
