SME Development National Center of Armenia has organized a free training on the topics of “Guest House Management” and “Customer Service” on November 15-16 within the “Partnerships for Rural Prosperity” project financed by USAID. The training was organized for 12 entrepreneurs operating in tourism field in Lori region’s city Alaverdi and neighboring communities. Personal consulting by visiting the beneficiaries was also provided.
The training was implemented by BSC Business Support Center. It included the topics of “Guest House Management” and “Customer Service”. Within the topic “Guest House Management” the participants got familiar with the development of guest house internal regulation, facilities and meals organization, pricing, cost price calculation, marketing tools implementation, organizing advertising activities, finance management, as well as the field activities’ regulating legal policy.
Within the topic of “Customer Service” The participants were introduced to the questions of discovering customer needs, service specifics of different customer groups, rules of service, providing additional services etc.
The consultants have also provided individual consulting to the project participants where their issues were discussed immediately and the possible ways of solving those were proposed. Due to the implemented training and personal consulting meetings the participants have gotten the opportunity to more clearly picture the management specifics of own business.
