BSC will presented at "DigiTec on Wheels" exhibition:
December 21-25 in Charentsavan, Hrazdan, Sevan, Dilijan and Ijevan towns, Armenia.

Within the framework of Small and Medium Entrepreneurship business support program "Economic Development Investment Projects" carried out by the Government of Armenia, among the business plans developed by BSC - Business and Community Development Center, "ANI KAT" LLC has been approved for obtaining the state support.
On March 13, at the Operations Staff meeting SME DNC was assigned to provide support to "ANI-KAT" LLC. As a result, with the support of SME DNC the company will be given a credit of 15 million drams.
Besides the mentioned project, during the discussions at the working group, several business plans were addressed to SME DNC, among them were two projects "Golden Goat" LLC and "LISIN" OJSC designed by BSC, which support is in the process.

BSC joined UN Global Compact Armenia in 2006. As an active participant in the Global Compact Armenian Network, BSC has developed Communication of Progress (COP) as a communication means to stakeholders on the progress the company has made in implementing the ten principles of the Global Compact in its business activities. To share it with the company's stakeholders, BSC has published COP (pdf, 89kb, engl.) in its website and the UN Global Compact website.

BSC and Triodos-Facet have a Memorandum of Understanding on exclusive cooperation (pdf, 201kb).

Accion Contra el Hambre (ACF-E) has invited BSC to carry out a baseline survey in Sissian region for the Sissian Rural Self-Reliance Development Program being implemented by ACF-E. The baseline survey had to serve as a benchmark of reference point for the measurement of the impact during and after the implementation of the third phase of the ACF-E Program, the main goal of which is the reduction of poverty of rural households in Sissian region through improving economic security of men and women in poor rural household by their involvement in the dairy sector.
The baseline survey recorded current demographic, economic, and social aspects regarding: -
Poverty reduction, - Socio-economic security for rural poor households, - Dairy sector linkages development in Sissian region, - Natural resources management, such as irrigation water, land and fodder.

BSC HR consultant, Nune Varosyan, was awarded with CERTIFICATE OF EXCELLENCE for sustained excellence in the contribution to the joint project on human resource development in small and medium sized enterprises of Armenia by SME Development National Center of Armenia and Japan International Cooperation Agency.
